A few weeks ago I got to hangout with my friend Josh & do a really fun pianist photography session. We met at an old beet factory in downtown Glendale. The owner rents it out for film & photography. The warehouse was so cool – I loved all the brick and the lighting was so dramatic – it was exactly what I had envisioned for our shoot.
Josh is a pianist. He is incredible at what he does. Request any song you can think of and he can play it – without any music in front of him. I took lessons for 8 years and I can’t even play one song by memory. His covers are fantastic.
This session was such a treat for me. He played his piano for over an hour while I moved around taking pictures. The sound was beautiful. I wish so much that you could hear his music through these photos.
