When Joy reached out to me and said she and Matt were hoping for a snowy forest elopement, I was so excited. Their Spokane elopement could not have been more perfect. For me it felt like a day spent with old friends. Every detail, from Joy’s pearls to the family heirloom ring that Matt surprised her with, were perfect. Joy made her hair piece and used a rose from her grandmother’s funeral in her bouquet. Aside from the beautiful details, both Joy and Matt were filled with such happiness, it was an honor to witness.
The day started at Bowl and Pitcher Park in Spokane. Joy and Matt had picked out some very specific and special places where they wanted photos. Two of their best friends flew in from out of town to share in their joy and support them throughout the day.
Before their appointment at the courthouse, we drove to Downtown Spokane and took pictures at Riverfront Park during sunset. Afterwards we walked to the courthouse and Joy and Matt officially got hitched 🙂
